But when the only woman he ever loved walks back into his life, his world is turned upside down. Hoping to reconnect with his brother Leo, Wolf accepted a job with Julian Lodge. I flipin' love this series. I feel like I've been waiting forever for Leo's story, and it was every bit as good as all that anticipation had me imagining. I loved seeing everyone again - Julian has to be one of my all time favorite characters, and he was in true manipulative form for this book. I loved Wolf too. We got to know him some in the Bliss series, and I think this was the perfect triad for him.
Off to read Ben and Chase's book! Can't wait to find out more about them. Shelley spent her whole life looking after the people she loves, she was blackmailed into marriage to protect her mother, she did everything she could to help her brother through his drug and alcohol dependence and she walked away from the man she loved to keep him safe from her dangerous and abusive husband. Now that her husband is dead she is finally ready to move on with her life and when Leo makes it clear he's not willing to give her a second chance she realises that she's going to have to Shelley spent her whole life looking after the people she loves, she was blackmailed into marriage to protect her mother, she did everything she could to help her brother through his drug and alcohol dependence and she walked away from the man she loved to keep him safe from her dangerous and abusive husband.
Now that her husband is dead she is finally ready to move on with her life and when Leo makes it clear he's not willing to give her a second chance she realises that she's going to have to let him go and find a future with someone else. Wolf is Leo's brother but when he agrees to train Shelley has his new sub he had no idea that she had previously been involved with his brother. By the time he finds out about Shelley and Leo's history it's too late and he's already started falling in love with her himself. But Wolf was raised in Bliss so he doesn't see anything wrong with sharing Shelley with Leo, in fact he has spent years wishing for a closer relationship with his brother and feeling hurt that Leo keeps him at arm's length, so he decides to do whatever it takes to bring the three of them together.

Leo has loved Shelley for years but was heartbroken when she rejected him, instead choosing to stay with a husband that emotionally abused her. The attraction he feels towards her is still there but he's scared of letting her get close in case she hurts him again so instead he remains determined to keep his distance.
That suddenly seems a lot harder when he sees Shelley start to fall in love with someone else though and when Wolf asks him to help fulfil her wildest fantasies he finds it very difficult to say no. Leo and Wolf have been regular recurring characters throughout the Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss series so I can't tell you how excited I was to finally get my hands on their story.
I already really liked Shelley we got to see quite a bit of her in her brother Trev's book Siren in Waiting and if anyone deserves to find happiness after everything they've been through it has to be her. I really enjoyed seeing how these three finally ended up coming together. It's funny because Leo is a psychologist who is excellent at diagnosing others and helping them find love but when it comes to his own relationship he is a stubborn disaster. I enjoyed seeing Julian pulling strings to try and bring them all together and really liked how open Wolf was about his desires and wish to create a family for the three of them.
As with all the books in this series there was plenty of heat and this triad had fabulous chemistry as well as a much deeper connection. There was also a sense of danger as both Shelley and Leo's past starts to catch up with them and they find themselves under attack. We get to see a lot of familiar faces as most of the story is set at The Club run by Julian Lodge and I just genuinely enjoy spending time in this world with all of these characters.
Siren in Bloom is the newest book in the Texas Sirens series, and it is just as amazing as everything before it. Leo and Wolf have been characters who sparked my interest in other books they've been featured in by this author, but getting to read their own book was worth waiting for. They were so different from each other, despite being brother's, but they were both absolutely fantastic characters.
Wolf was funny and yet self conscious and strong willed and just so many surprising things rolled in Siren in Bloom is the newest book in the Texas Sirens series, and it is just as amazing as everything before it. Wolf was funny and yet self conscious and strong willed and just so many surprising things rolled into one. Leo was highly intelligent but closed off and while also strong, he was in need of the right people to soften and open him up. And bringing Shelley into the mix brought everything together as it should be. Her past with her ex was one that was pretty much nightmare inducing.
But she was determined to find herself again and the love of the Meyer brothers was a dream she deserved but wasn't sure she could ever make a reality. Reading this book made me want a re-read of the Texas Sirens and the Nights in Bliss series just to spend more time with these characters. Plus I'll need something to tide me over until the next book releases.
This one is a must read. It was so great to dive back into this world and rediscover the amazing connection between Leo, Shelley, and Wolf. In turn, Leo and Wolf helps Shelley find her inner strength and beauty. The love they have for her, brings out the love she eventually finds in herself. The new content was great and I love finding new gems that I may have missed the first go-round.
Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed! May 04, Kazza rated it it was amazing Shelves: bdsm , menage. What can I say to do this book justice? Texas Sirens is one of the best series out there, irrespective of genre. She is also missing contact with Leo, who she grew close to when Trev was working through substance abuse problems.
This book lets us in on exactly what went down, why Leo picked up his bat and ball and went home hurt and has remained distant.
Siren in Bloom
Leo and Wolf have not been close for a while and getting them together and sharing the woman they both love, who is in danger, is the main premise. Plus there is a butthead politician, sexy guys in the background, aka Ben and Chase, and Logan with his problems from his time as Deputy Sheriff in Bliss. Not to mention the fabulously kooky, pain slut, Kitten, who speaks in third person, loved her. The MC's are never overrun by the other characters, they're perfectly complimented.
Julian Lodge is a stand out in this book, for mine, his lines are clever, witty and impeccably written. Fit, Leo?
You were supposed to publicly punish your submissive who created complete chaos with her disobedience. I want characters to be well written and psychologically appropriate. I laud any writer who can write a book let alone a series and keep their characters en pointe. I would implore aspiring writers to read Sophie Oak for her brilliant characterizations, not to mention her character-appropriate comedic writing.
Her characters never devolve, they either stay true or slowly develop into what you know at heart is who they should be. Take Leo and Wolf, they are pitch perfect here, Leo as his Dom, psychotherapist self, Wolf as his crazy big hearted alpha but flexible, softy persona. Also, Ben and Chase, they have popped up previously, but in SiB more is revealed and it is just right.

I must not leave without mentioning the love of my life, Jack Barnes. May 04, Mrs. Missive rated it it was amazing Shelves: read Sophie Oak is the Goddess of Menage. I bow to her mastery of the double dicked dance. I waited until I got my chores done like a good girl before diving into this novel. I knew Shelly is our heroine this time around.
